Politics is hell, won't join it: Rahman

A.R. Rahman should not be ignorant like most of the new era college students who thinks politics is a waste or hell. If you see the orkut or facebook of students / youth nowadays they put their political status as “not interested/ politics is crap”. Well may be by the westernization and their age and background majority of them may be ignorant of the fact what politics is really is. The astonishing factor is that who ever comments like this are basically form a politically and democratically stable country. Because those who are in a politically unstable country know what is the value of politics.

A.R. Rahman is coming from a country where he had enjoyed all the rights of political freedom and civil rights. (
http://www.mherrera.org/freedom.htm ) and where risk of coup is very less ( http://www.mherrera.org/trouble.htm ). He is a world known musician, so he should be a little matured in the comments he is making. There are thousands of fans and followers for him who may view this comment and at least few of them may follow all his crap thoughts. Just because few or most of the politicians are playing some foul/ cheap games that doesn’t mean politics is hell.

Wiki defines: “Politics is a process by which groups of people make collective decisions. The term is generally applied to behavior within civil governments, but politics has been observed in other group interactions, including corporate, academic, and religious institutions”. So what ever is the background it is a group of people who is deciding. And in India, these so called politicians are chosen by its citizen. And it is well known that the people get the government they deserve. So if the politicians are bad, the citizens including A.R.Rahman are responsible. He should have grown in a country where military rules/anarchism prevails to know what a real hell is. And A.R. alone can’t be blamed……because it is the habit of majority of Indians, to enjoy all the rights the country is providing and not to do all the duties it demands from them.
